Cleaner Eating in 2020: Getting (Back) on Track after the Holidays

We're about to embark on a new year and a new decade!  It's time again to set intentions for bettering ourselves in all sorts of ways - including our eating habits.

The Holiday Season is the most difficult time to eat well and make healthy decisions: Parties and family get-togethers with traditional heavy meals, cheese platters, Christmas cookies & homemade desserts…   Though these foods are delicious and often nourish our souls, they lack the nutrition we need to feel our best.

As the year is coming to an end it's time to be thinking about how we can feel better, fit into our pants better, and have more energy for the things we care about.  A huge part of that puzzle is paying attention to and being more conscious about what we put into our bodies every day.

This discussion will give you your 2020 Healthy Eating Game Plan!

Topics will include:

  • Basic Healthy Eating Reminders

  • Shopping Tips - staying seasonal & local, label reading

  • Time Management for Cooking - a little planning goes a long way

  • Building a Healthy Pantry

  • Nutrient-dense go-to meal ideas

  • Environmental considerations

  • Staying motivated & mindful

Come join the conversation, led by Integrative health coach, Courtney Shober and including some additional healthy eating experts!

Plan on registering for our next FHC event on Tuesday, January 21st to take the next step towards healthier eating.  We’ll have a great interactive cooking class to show you how to set your plan into action.
